The organisation started as an informal weekly weekend club for handcyclists at Yio Chu Kang Stadium, with its pioneer members consisting of spinal cord injury survivors from the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group Singapore alongside rehabilitation professionals from the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Rehabilitation Centre.
