Tree Planting with NParks

PCFS Community Tree Planting

On 21 February 2026, the PCFS community gathered for a meaningful and memorable milestone — our first-ever tree planting event in partnership with the National Parks Board (NParks).

Athletes, families, caregivers, friends, and volunteers came together with a shared purpose. Side by side, with hands in the soil and smiles all around, everyone played a part in planting 30 trees that will grow alongside our community for years to come.

This event was more than just a morning outdoors. It was a reminder that inclusion extends beyond sport. It is about belonging, participation, and being part of something larger than ourselves. Seeing members of PCFS working together in nature was a powerful reflection of what we stands for — resilience, unity, and shared experiences.

Our tree planting activity also contributed to Singapore’s national greening effort under the One Million Trees Movement, which aims to plant one million trees across the island by 2030. We are proud to play a small part in this collective effort to build a greener and more sustainable Singapore.

Throughout the morning, there was plenty of laughter, encouragement, and teamwork. Families helped position saplings, volunteers guided the planting process, and athletes enthusiastically took part in every step. The atmosphere was warm, joyful, and full of community spirit.

By the end of the day, the trees stood firmly in the ground — small now, but full of promise.

In many ways, the day symbolised exactly what we hope to nurture within PCFS:
growth, strength, and connection.

We are grateful to NParks for the opportunity to participate in this meaningful initiative, and to everyone who came down to make the event such a success.

Because on this day, we planted more than trees. We planted community.
